The end of an era has come and it is time to pass Casa Susana into new hands. The name came about because I used to say in my bad Spanish that I had bought the old casa of Cesario in Vilacha, when people in Portomarin and other villages tried to work out where i fitted in. The day I bought the house, old Cesario, now 91, said to me: No mas Casa de Cesario, ahora es Casa Susana.
My simple small village life, and the donativo table came at exactly the right time for me, and it has enriched my life. I had retired from a life in the service of others and the table and helping others was a wonderful transition to retirement.
So it is now time to sell my wonderful little casa. It is meant to be lived in and enjoyed.
For those who have not seen upstairs it has two large rooms: the bedroom has a bath, wood burning stove and a sofa as well as a double bed.
The other room is a large living room / dining room and off this is the small upstairs kitchen and pantry.
All the floors are wonderful chestnut.
Downstairs there is a toilet, shower and laundry.
Also downstairs the old kitchen has been restored and has a wood burning range. The room also has a sofa bed and doubles as a spare room. The stable area of downstairs has been left in its original state.
The natural stone roof has been renewed and many of the bearers replaced.
The total restoration has been done thoughtfully and with quality products and fittings e.g. ceramic and timber light switches.
The asking price is 150,000 Euros.

El final de una era ha llegado y es hora de pasar Casa Susana a nuevas manos. El nombre surgió porque solía decir en mi mal español que había comprado la antigua casa de Cesareo en Vilacha, cuando la gente de Portomarín y otras aldeas intentaron averiguar dónde me encontraba. El día que compré la casa, el viejo Cesareo , ahora con 91 años, me dijo: Ya no es Casa de Cesareo, ahora es Casa Susana.
Mi pequeña vida sencilla en el pueblo, y la mesa de donativo llegaron en el momento justo para mí, y han enriquecido mi vida. Me había retirado de una vida al servicio de los demás y la mesa y ayudar a los demás fue una transición maravillosa para la jubilación.
Así que ahora es el momento de vender mi maravillosa pequeña casa . Está destinada a ser vivida y disfrutada.
Para aquellos que no han visto la parte de arriba, tiene dos habitaciones grandes: el dormitorio tiene un baño, estufa de leña y un sofá, así como una cama doble.
La otra habitación es una gran sala de estar / comedor y fuera de esta la pequeña cocina y despensa.
Todos el suelo es de maravilloso castaño.
En la planta baja hay un aseo, ducha y lavandería.
También abajo, la antigua cocina ha sido restaurada y tiene una cocina de leña. La habitación también tiene un sofá cama y funciona como una habitación adicional. El área de establo de la planta baja se ha dejado en su estado original.
El techo de pizarra natural ha sido renovado y muchos de las vigas han sido reemplazadas.
La restauración total se ha realizado atentamente y con productos y accesorios de calidad, p. e. interruptores de luz de cerámica y madera.
El precio de venta es de 150,000 Euros.
